Privacy Policy

GENERAL PRIVACY STATEMENT

We have a very simple privacy policy. We keep everything we can confidential to the highest level permitted by law. That means we don't share any of your information with third parties.

All contacts with Cross Cultural Expressions Community Conseling Center, including telephone, mail, in-person interview, etc., are considered confidential and will not be shared with an outside agency or person without your prior consent, in writing. We appreciate the need for confidentiality, both in dealing with people and in keeping secure records.

EXCEPTIONS

A number of laws govern our clinicians, and these laws require us to report any reasonable suspicion of child abuse, which can include physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and/or neglect. We must also report any suspicion of physical abuse of a dependent adult who is 18 years or older, and we must report elder abuse, of anyone 65 years or older. In addition, if the clinician has reasonable cause to believe that you are a danger to yourself or to the person or property of another, then disclosure may be made to an appropriate person or agency to prevent the threatened danger.


WEBSITE PRIVACY

We do not gather any personally identifying information about you when you visit this site, unless you choose to provide such information to us.

We do not share name, address or other personally identifying information you provide with any other parties unless to comply with a direct court order.

We so collect certain, not-personally-identifying information from our site visitors to improve the content of our site, to enhance the on-line experience we offer, and for marketing and promotional purposes. Each time you visit any of our websites, our web server automatically recognizes your domain name or IP address and what type of browser you are using. This information does not identify any individual visitor personally and is only used in aggregate for statistical purposes.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail or voluntarily join our email list. We also collect customer information gathered in the course of processing sales transactions.

If you supply us with your e-mail address, you may receive periodic e-mails from us announcing event information or updates to our Websites. If you do not wish to receive such e-mail updates, please let us know through our contact form.

Children - We do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children (minors younger than 13). If you are a parent and believe we may have inadvertently collected such information from your child, please notify us immediately through our contact form.
